Jumo 60003292 Bang-bang Temperature limiter 345 °C (max.) 16 A relay

Its galvanized steel plate housing makes the 1-pin mechanical thermostat very robust and can also be used in harsh conditions. The measuring system used works according to the principle of liquid expansion and can be used without any problem up to a maximum admissible sensor temperature of 345 °C. The smooth round sensor made of stainless steel has a diameter of 6 mm with a probe length of approx. 85 mm. The remote control cable of the thermostat is made of copper and can be laid flexibly according to a bending radius of 5 mm. The first 460mm from the switching head are covered with an electrically insulating PVC protective hose. The device has a capillary breakage fuse through which the switching contact is opened when the measuring system is destroyed and enters the neutral position. It is then no longer possible to unlock the thermostat. The maximum permissible ambient temperature at the switching head (protection class IP00) is 80 °C. The temperature compensation reduces the influence of the ambient temperature on the control head to a minimum. The switch head is attached using a mounting bridge using two screws M4 x 28. With the help of a screwdriver the desired shutdown temperature on a scale can be set easily. The safety temperature limiter has a high switching point accuracy of +0/- 15 K in the upper scale third. A decisive advantage is that no additional power supply is required for measuring the temperature. The electrical connection is made at the flat plugs (A 6.3 x 0.8 DIN 46244) of the switching set, which can directly switch a maximum permissible switching power of AC 230 Volt / 16 A. The thermostat has an unlock difference of approx. 25 K in the upper third of the scale (approx. 45 K at the start of the scale) after which the device can be unlocked simply by pressing a button. The safety temperature limiter has great flexibility in use and is used in both heating, air-conditioning and ventilation systems, as well as in the plastics industry, apparatus and oven construction as well as for temperature monitoring in laboratories and climate chambers. The device is approved according to DIN EN 14597 and DGRL and has UL and EAC approval. The device is RoHS compliant and cadmium free.
