The new 2601B-PULSE System SourceMeter10 µs Pulser/SMU Instrument with PulseMeter™ technology is an industry leading high-current/high-speed pulser with measurement and full functionality of a traditional SMU. This new pulse generator offers a 10-amp current pulse output at 10 V with a pulse width of 10 µs, perfect for testing vertical surface emitting lasers with cavity (VCSEL) used in LIDAR and face detection, lighting and display LEDs, general mode filters, semiconductor device characterization, surge protection testing and much more. The integrated pulse generator dual 1 Megasampler/second (MS/s) and 18-bit digitizer enable the acquisition of both pulse currents and voltage waveforms simultaneously without the need for a separate instrument. The 2601B-PULSE is a powerful solution that significantly increases productivity. Because the 2601B PULSE provides complete isolation that does not require a mainframe, it can be easily reconfigured and re-deployed as your test application evolves.
