Description
High-power tool for precise applications
Perfect dimensional stability: Fits optimally into the drive machine
No dangerous shank breakage thanks to high-quality steel shaft
Stainless steel, zinc-nickel coating
Quality-tested: High safety through regular testing
No chrome coating
The LUKAS CBN grinding pin is a high-performance tool for precise applications. Cubic boron nitride (CBN) is one of the hardest known materials and belongs to the class of super abrasive abrasive abrasive abrasive abrasive abrasive abrasive abrasive abrasive grinding agents. Due to their excellent hardness they are an indispensable part of modern precision work. CBN finds its use in machining hardened steels. Due to complex synthesis or natural scarcity, diamond or CBN grains are much more expensive than conventional abrasive materials, but they are clearly superior due to their enormous hardness and are essential for many applications. Due to the galvanic assignment of the grinding pin, the base body and the bond are made of metal and thus offer an excellent dissipation of the heat generated during the grinding process. In the case of tools with galvanic coating, abrasive grains are electrochemically nickel-coated and thus bound to the surface of a metallic base. Abrasive bodies can be manufactured in a variety of dimensions and different fabrics. This means that the individual tool is available for every application.
