Description
High-quality material properties
ABS is more resistant than PLA, WAS makes it an ideal material for applications that require a higher load-carrying capacity. The material is tough and does not break so easily, making it ideal for functional prototypes and labor-intensive parts. In addition, ABS is chemical resistant and can be smoothed with acetone, WAS makes it easier to rework. Please note that printing with ABS requires a hot bed and avoid draft air to prevent warping.
Strict quality controls
Maertz Budget ABS filament is manufactured under strict quality management processes to ensure a constant filament diameter, uniform colors, low moisture absorption and constant rounding. These quality features ensure reliable and consistent print quality.
Versatile usage possibilities
Ideal filament is suitable for all components that have to withstand higher loads than conventional PLA or Tough PLA. Common applications include hooks, fasteners or devices that must withstand moderate loads. The material is also perfectly suitable for re-working by grinding, gluing and painting. Toys, such as figures or terminal blocks, are also often made of ABS.
