Märklin 000730 Mineral wagon AC

The long block trains, which draw all attention to itself in the prototype as well as in the model include. They are usually made of a car type. For example, the "Lange Heinrich", an ore train drawn by the powerful steam locomotives of the 043 series in the 1970s, is still in good memory. However, there are also loads that are very wet-sensitive and therefore cannot be transported in cars like the Falns 182 type. From 1982, Talbot built a total of 140 copies of a wagon named Talen 968 for the German Federal Railways. They were given a swivel roof which optimally protects the load, in this case it was mostly salt for the chemical industry. Optically, the valley 968 is mainly due to its cropped roof pillars, WAS extended the car body in the upper section at the front and made it look even more massive. With an intrinsic weight of around 25 tons, the cargo can be up to a maximum of 65 tons. Thus, with 24 wagons in the model would already a very neat load, which requires a strong tractive effort The heavy-duty series 151 can shine here. The pivot roof wagons of the type Tals 968 run not only in block trains, but also in mixed trains. Here as there they always give a good figure, whether on the layout or in the display cabinet.
