Description
The Schorsch - a unique product of the German National Railways (DR).
The steam locomotive 18 314 of the German State Railways (DR) of the GDR (DR) later called "Schorsch" shows an unusual and even extraordinary life history. Once in service in 1919 as a Baden-Baden "Edelrenner" of the series "IV h" the DRG took over him as 18 314. After the end of the Second World War, the locomotive arrived in the Soviet zone in exchange for an S 3/6, where the later VES-M hall urgently needed a fast four-cylinder composite steam locomotive for test drives. In order to get even faster, it was provided in 1960 with Reko-boiler, partial covering, new driver's cab and tender as well as a green paint finish. The icing on the cake on the "i" was the conversion to main oil firing in 1967. At the end of 1971 it was shut down and sold to the Federal Republic of Germany in 1984. Since 1986, it has been one of the highlights of the automobile and technical museum in Sinsheim as a permanent loan of the HEF.
Model: Express train steam locomotive 18 314 with main oil firing and oil tender 2'2'T34 of the German State Railways of the GDR (DR/DDR). Conversion version as a test locomotive of the VES-M hall (hall). Design with Reko-boiler and partial cladding, on the basis of the steam locomotive 18 314 (former Baden IVh). With Witte smoke deflectors and one-sided indusi. Operating condition circa 1968.
Model: With mfx digital decoder and extensive sound functions. Regulated high-power drive with flywheel mass in the boiler. 3 Powered axles Traction tyres. Locomotive and tender to a large extent made of metal. Serially installed smoke unit with speed-dependent, dynamic smoke emissions. Three-light head end signal changes dependent upon the direction of travel operated conventionally, can be switched digitally. In addition, two red lamps can be switched digitally at the front of the locomotive. Driver's cab lighting and undercarriage lighting can be switched digitally separately. Lighting with maintenance-free warm white and red light emitting diodes (LED). With buffer storage. Close coupling with kinematics between locomotive and tender. Kinematic close coupling on the tender with NEM. Minimum radius for operation 360 mm. For large radii or display case, a panel without wheel cutout below the cab is enclosed for exchange. Piston rod protective tubes and brake hoses are also included. Length over buffer 27.2 cm.
This model is available in DC version in the TRIX H0 range under article number 25029.
