Description

The MPAC-TM384 and MPAC-TM640 thermal modules are designed for use with Megger's MPAC208 acoustic imaging camera. They enable the user to take thermal imaging as well as the existing acoustic imaging. The thermal modules are connected to the MPAC208 via a simple encoded USB-C connector on the top of the camera. The MPAC firmware already supports the use of both modules, so no further setup is required. The MPAC-TM384 includes a comprehensive 384 x 288 heat sensor. Both devices can generate high-resolution thermal images and capture all temperature data in the entire image. The MPAC208 user interface can be used to set relevant parameters to improve the accuracy of the measurements and to record important details about the measurement object. A x6 digital Zoom is also available to better locate problems.All thermal images and videos taken with the MPAC-TM modules can be imported into the Analyst software along with the acoustic data for further analysis and detailed reports.
