Description

The installation tester is a multi-functional measuring device, which is suitable for testing electrical safety according to the standards EN 61557 and DIN VDE 0100. It offers many functions specially designed for the testing and evaluation of electrical installations. The installation tester can conduct a precise measurement of the insulation resistance between live parts and earthing. In the RCD Test both type A- as well as AC, B, B+ and F-controlled fault current circuit breakers can be efficiently tested. This ensures the proper functioning of these vital protective devices.

The installation tester enables the fast and accurate measurement of loop impedance to ensure that sufficient resistance is available in the event of a fault current to ensure a safe shutdown. In addition, a measurement of the protective conductor resistance enables the continuity of conductors and connections to be checked. A graphical representation of the wiring helps the operator to perform measurements correctly.

The brightness of the display can be adjusted to 4 levels. An adjustable alarm tone warns of errors or exceeding the limit value. The installation tester can be prevented from accidentally discharging using the adjustable off-time of the batteries. The device is supplied with test leads which correspond to the specific requirements of CAT III / 600 V and CAT IV / 300V.
