Description

The automatic adhesion meter is a portable, hand-operated device that measures the force required to remove a specific test diameter of a coating from the substrate using hydraulic pressure. The measured pressure is displayed on the 5 inch touch screen and represents the adhesive strength of the coating on the substrate. This device is used to evaluate the adhesion (tear resistance) of a coating by determining the maximum tensile force it can withstand before it is released. The automatic adhesion meter makes it possible to detect breaks caused by cracks along the weakest layer in the system consisting of carrier, adhesive, coating layers and substrate.

Equipped with an electronically controlled hydraulic pump, our automatic adhesive strength meter enables precise and repeatable application of the required traction force. Thanks to the choice of different Dolly-sizes, the device is flexibly adapted to different Test requirements, WAS makes it very versatile. The drawing speed, the load limit and the holding time can be individually adjusted to meet specific requirements for different materials and applications.

In addition, the automatic adhesive strength meter features a USB interface for easy transfer of the measured data to external devices. The data can be stored in a practical CSV format, WAS makes it easy to process and analyze. The accessories include additional measurement heads and replacement heads as well as a suitable socket for your needs.
