PCE Instruments PCE-1000N Hardness tester Brinell

Barcol measuring device PCE-1000N Barcol measuring device for hardness testing / one-hand operation / battery operated / backlit LCD / automatic shutdown / maximum and average function The Barcol measuring device is used for hardness measurement. The Barcol measuring instrument is mainly used in the area of aluminum. Other soft metals such as copper or lead can also be tested. The Barcol measuring instrument is also used for hardness testing of harder plastics or fiber-reinforced GRP materials. The wide measuring range enables extensive measurements with the Barcol measuring instrument. The measurements with the Barcol measuring instrument are carried out with a high accuracy and the measured values are displayed directly on the clear, background-light digital display. The digital display of the Barcol measuring device offers the possibility to determine not only Barcol (HBA) but also hardness Vickers (HV), hardness Brinell (HB), hardness Webster (HW) and hardness Rockwell (HRB, HRE, HFR and HRH). The Barcol instrument is frequently used in the aluminum industry. The reason for this is again the wide measuring range. It allows testing from very soft aluminum to harder aluminum alloys. The user is supported by the maximum and average functions. In addition, the Barcol meter can be operated by hand thanks to the possibility of one-handed operation and the support of the pedestal, which ensures a high stability during the measurements. The non-stationary operation by battery supply can therefore be carried out without any problems with the compact Barcol measuring device.
