Colour illumination chamber for comparing colors / Four types of light D65, A, TL84, UV / easy and fast mounting / meeting the ASTM D1729 standard
A color light chamber allows the user to make direct visual color comparisons of products that are to be produced or are already in production. Colour comparisons in a color lighting chamber are therefore important for a company that is required to offer high and consistent quality in its products. The color illumination chamber supports four different types of light. The types of light are predefined types of light, such as daylight, department store light, UV light and incandescent lamps. For example, the color light chamber can be used to prevent meta-media before the product goes into series production. Furthermore, the color lighting chamber is also an important component in quality assurance. This means that it is also possible to check whether the color values are still within the frame during the production of products.

Metamerie in general refers to the fact that the same colors can look different under different light types.

The internal operating hours meter of the color lighting chamber records the lighting times of the individual bulbs and thus ensures that the bulbs are not changed too early or too late. The use time of the illuminant in a color illumination chamber should not exceed 2000 hours. Along with the operating hours the switch-on processes of each type of light of the color illumination chamber are also counted.
