The layer thickness measuring device can reliably determine the thickness of e.g. plastics, paints and other coatings on ferrous and non-ferrous metals. With a measuring range of up to 0 ... 3000 µm on ferrous metals, the layer thickness measuring instrument covers a wide range of measuring tasks. Due to the accuracy of up to ±(1.0 % v. MW. + 0.5 µm) the layer thickness measuring device is a very precise measuring medium. The layer thickness measuring device sensor has a V-groove. This V-groove allows you to take measurements on convex surfaces with the layer thickness meter. In addition to the convex surfaces, measurements can also be made on concave surfaces using the layer thickness measuring device. During the measurements, the measured values can be stored on the layer thickness meter. A memory of up to 2,000 measured values is available for this purpose. After a measurement run, the measured values can be transferred from the layer thickness meter to a computer and analyzed using the software. These can be exported in CSV format for further processing of the measured values. A set/actual range can be stored with the limit alarm function for the layer thickness meter. If the test object is within the stored area at the layer thickness measuring device, this is indicated by a green LED.
