Description
The ammeter has a measuring range of 0 - 1000 A AC/DC. The current measurement takes place inductively via the pliers at the ammeter. Current carrying cables with a diameter of up to 32 mm can be connected to the ammeter. With the optional Rogowski coil the measuring range from the ammeter can be extended to up to 3000 A AC. The ammeter has sub-functions for current measurement. Thus, the inrush current can be measured with the ammeter. This is a particularly important function since motors, such as those used in ventilation systems, or even hall lighting, require a particularly high current at the moment of switching on. In addition to the current measurement, the ammeter can also measure voltages of 0 to 1000 V AC/DC, resistors, frequencies and capacities. The functions can be set via the rotary selection switch at the ammeter. No-contact voltage can be detected via the clamp-on ammeter with the NCV function. If a voltage of 150 V AC is applied, it is signaled via an additional red LED. This function is active at every measuring function selected via the rotary selection switch. An LED lamp is integrated into the ammeter for optimum illumination of the measurement point. The ammeter can be connected to an Android or iOS device via the Bluetooth interface. By means of the free APP for the ammeter the measured values can be shown, stored and processed. Therefore, because of the multitude of functions, the ammeter covers a large area of measurement tasks.
