Description
The clamp-on ammeter has a measurement range of 0 … 1000 A AC/DC. The current measurement is performed inductively on the pliers. Current carrying cables with a diameter of up to 32 mm can be connected to the current probe. With the optional Rogowski coil the measuring range can be extended from the clip-on ammeter to up to 3000 A AC. The clamp meter has sub-functions for current measurement. This allows you to measure inrush current with the current clamp. This is a particularly important function since motors, such as those used in ventilation systems, or even hall lighting, require a particularly high current at the moment of switching on.
