PCE Instruments PCE-GM 75-ICA PCE-GM 75-ICA Gloss meter Calibrated to (ISO standards)

The gloss measuring instrument has a measuring area of Ø4,5 mm. Thanks to this small measuring area, measurements on especially small surfaces are possible with the gloss measurement device. With an accuracy of up to 1%, the gloss gauge is a highly accurate measuring instrument for fast and simple measurements on surfaces. The one-button operation allows quick and easy operation of the gloss measuring device.

The small sensor measurement opening from the gloss measuring device, with only 4.5 mm diameter, makes it possible to measure the gloss directly even on domed surfaces. Even in hard to reach places, the gloss measuring device Ideal is suitable, since even small changes or contamination have an effect on the measurement results. The measurement result must show even small changes in the influencing variables, such as flatness, structures, radii or slight shading. Good repeatability is very important for the surfaces to be measured, because two samples with the same color but different degrees of gloss do not look visually the same. The shiny surface is perceived to be darker and more saturated than the less shiny. If a uniform appearance is to be achieved on two surfaces, both surfaces must be measured with the gloss gauge.

Another special feature of the gloss gauge is the data storage function. With this gloss measurement device automatically up to 1245 measurements are saved. To read the data, the gloss gauge must be connected to a computer. No additional drivers or software are required for reading the data from the gloss measuring device. The saved data is saved in .txt file format on the gloss measurement device and can be analyzed directly. In addition to the storage of the measurement data, a time stamp is created for each measurement.
