Description

The insulation measuring device is for insulation measurements with a test voltage up to 15 kV. The measuring range of 0 ... 30 TΩ and additional measurement functions make the tester very versatile. With 4 quick selection buttons for the common test voltages and the option to set the voltage in 500 V steps. Pre-configured diagnostic tests, including (PI), dielectric absorption ratio (DAR) and a memory function for 200 measurements. These can be transferred via the interface to the software, which also enables operation of the insulation measuring device. In addition, the alternating and direct voltages up to 600 V can be measured with the insulation measuring device. The insulation measuring device is delivered in a robust case which also offers protection class IP66 when the lid is closed.

Over the course of its normal life, electrical insulation is exposed to various loads that cause its deterioration. The causes are thermal, mechanical and chemical influences as well as moisture.
