Description

Robust installation tester / insulation resistance / earthing resistance / loop impedance / voltage measurement / low ohm measurement / RCD test is a robust installation tester with a large 3.5" TFT color LCD display. The installation tester ensures that fixed installations are safe and correctly installed. Thanks to the dual display, intuitive symbols and the high viewing angle, you can carry out your measurements comfortably and quickly with the installation tester. With the low-ohm measurement of the installation tester, you can check the earth conductor, equipotential bonding rails and earth conductor for a low-ohm continuity. The measuring range for the low-ohm measurement is in the range of 0...2000 Ω with a resolution of 0.001...1 Ω for the installation tester. The most important measurement of the installation tester is the measurement of the insulation resistance. During insulation measurement, electrical cables are energized to allow residual currents that generate material migration or heat to flow. In most cases, fault currents are so minimal that they are not recognized by protective devices and in the worst case, they can lead to a fire. The installation tester can carry out the installation measurement with a test voltage of 125 V, 250 V, 500 V or 1000 V. The test current is 1 mA each. The earthing measurement of the installation tester is independant of the mains supply.
