Description

The Luxmeter is for the measurement of luminance of self-illuminating surfaces, such as monitor matrices, TV devices, Negoscopes, Reading boards, etc. The measuring device ensures an exact measurement, regardless of the spatial distribution of the measured luminance or background lighting of the surface to be tested. It is essential for the control of medical screens and negatives. The unit cd/m² sets the photometric size cd (abbreviation for candela) in relation to the area of the display, expressed in square meters. Another feature of the Luxmeter is the integrated measured value memory. Use this function to save and record measurement results automatically. The Luxmeter creates a text document in which the measured values are stored one after the other.

Due to its technical parameters, the Luxmeter is classified in Class A according to DIN 5032-7 and TC-2.2 CIE. The probe is equipped with a multifunction button, which can be used to trigger a measurement, save results and set the desired measurement method, for example to test the grayscale playback from monitors as per DICOM GSDF 1) function.
