Description
The calibrator for light measuring devices is characterized by its precise properties. The light intensity of the calibrator is fixed at 100 lux and ensures a reliable and exact adjustment of the light sensors. Light measuring devices that are controlled and adjusted with the calibrator provide reliable measuring values under real conditions. Another important feature of the calibrator is its defined light color of 3000 Kelvin. This color temperature of the calibrator light source is adapted to the common lighting conditions and thus enables realistic calibration. The operating period of the calibrator is 1 minute. This short period of time ensures that the calibrator light source is not subject to unnecessary wear.
In addition, the calibrator includes an input voltage check to ensure that the calibrator is operating in optimal conditions. This function helps to eliminate possible sources of error and to ensure the accuracy of the light output. Overall, this calibrator is a reliable and precise solution for calibration of light meters, especially the PCE-LMD 200. The carefully defined properties enable the instruments to be precisely adapted to different lighting conditions, ensuring the reliability of light measurements.
