Description
The gloss gauge works with measurement geometries of 20°, 60° and 85°. The gloss measuring instrument uses the reflection principle. This is the fact that the gloss measuring device emits light on a surface to be tested. Part of the light is then absorbed from the surface and another part is reflected. After this has been done, the gloss measuring device calculates the appropriate gloss level. Based on its measurement range, the gloss measuring device offers the possibility to determine extensive surfaces.
Due to these properties, the gloss measuring device is ideal for quality and input control measurements. The accompanying software makes possible and simple a later evaluation of the measurement data.
