Description
The soil pH-meter was developed for directly determining the pH-value in the soil. With the help of this soil pH-meter it is possible to measure the pH-value of the soil or a solution containing a soil sample quickly and accurately. The ground electrode is inserted into the previously slightly loosened ground and the pH value is read off on the digital display.
Always make sure that the measuring principle requires a minimum residual moisture in the soil. This soil pH-meter is therefore the ideal solution for the exact measurement of the pH-value in the soil, in substrates, for garden irrigation solutions, which are used in greenhouses and also in agricultural products and plants. The meter is always delivered calibrated at the factory. A continuous re-calibration of the pH meter is performed using the supplied calibration standards (buffer solutions). The calibration data is saved when changing the batteries.
As a rule, you can simply stick the electrode into the ground and read the pH directly from the digital display. If you would like to make a DIN-standard measurement or if you cannot penetrate deep enough into the soil due to the hardness of the soil, you should make a DIN soil solution and use it for accurate measurement.
