Description
This gloss measuring instrument with a small measuring range is used to make surface measurements. The gloss measuring instrument uses the reflection principle. The gloss measuring device sends light from a light source onto a surface to be tested and calculates the gloss of the surface according to the Reflexion of light particles. After light hits the surface, some light particles are reflected from the surface and others are absorbed. The gloss level is then output by the gloss measuring device after the difference is formed on the display.
The measurement geometry of the gloss gauge is 60° and is not adjustable, as with various other instruments similar to the gloss gauge. An analysis software is included in the delivery of the gloss measuring device which allows you to read and analyze the measurement data on a computer after use of the gloss measuring device. The device itself is equipped with a memory value memory which, depending on the setting, can take up to 5000 measured values.
