Description
WLAN data logger for the warehouse WLAN frequency 2.4 GHz, buffer for 12,800 measuring points / color display / network operation / optionally with ISO calibration certificate In a large warehouse, it is often not possible to monitor the temperature and humidity in all critical areas by reading on-site measuring devices. It is often not possible or too expensive to lay data lines to all important control points. In such cases, climate data loggers are suitable, which can transmit the measured values via WLAN connection. The PCE-THT 10 is an excellent mains-operated WLAN data logger for continuous remote monitoring of temperature and humidity. No matter whether in the warehouse or in other areas that are only entered when needed, such as server rooms, archives, cold rooms, rice rooms or agricultural rearing and breeding areas, the control of the climate values is possible without any problem from the outside. The associated PC software simplifies the control and analysis of the measured values transmitted by the WLAN data logger. Several PCE-THT 10 data loggers in a network can be controlled simultaneously by the software. This makes it possible to draw conclusions about the cause of any conspicuous values. In periods during which no WLAN connection is possible in the warehouse, the measured values for temperature and humidity are automatically stored in the internal memory of the device. The memory offers space for 12,800 measuring points. The compact housing of the WLAN data logger has dimensions of 14.5 cm x 11.0 cm x 3.3 cm and is equipped with a 2.3" large display and four control buttons. The WLAN antenna is arranged on the top side, which can be angled and rotated. The permanently installed sensor for temperature and humidity as well as the two connections for power supply via the power supply unit included in the delivery or a micro-USB cable are located on the bottom. The measurements start immediately after the WLAN data logger in the warehouse has been connected to the power supply. On the display, the values for temperature and humidity are displayed next to colored symbols and are rich in contrast as white numbers on a dark background. This displays the date and time. All settings for data transfer, data storage and the desired limit values can then be made directly via the device menu. The alarm in the WLAN data logger can be activated separately for the defined upper and lower limit values of temperature and humidity. If the limit value is exceeded or undercut, a loud acoustic signal sounds and a flashing bell symbol appears to the left of the measured value indicating whether the upper or lower limit value is affected. The unit displayed to the right of the measured value also flashes, so that critical values can be noticed on site even in very noisy environments. The WLAN data logger can be used with measurement ranges from -20 to 60° Celsius for temperature and 0 to 99.9 percent for humidity for different climatic zones in the warehouse, in production halls, depots, greenhouses or stables. During check-outs, the current measured values can be read directly on the display, so that even people who do not have access to the WLAN can recognize critical values and initiate appropriate measures. To ensure that the WLAN data logger complies with the specified measuring accuracy when determining the measured values in the warehouse, it should be calibrated regularly. If required, the PCE-THT 10 can be supplied with a current ISO calibration certificate for humidity and temperature.
