Description
The vibration meter is an ideal measuring device for fast and precise inspection of vibrating parts, machines and plants. This vibration measuring device determines the vibration path via the external vibration sensor (measuring range 0.000 ... 3.9 mm), the oscillation speed (measuring range 0.00 ... 399.9 mm/s) and vibration acceleration (measuring range 0.0 ... 399.9 m/s²). Various measurement parameters are available for this purpose, such as RMS, peak, peak and crest factors. The vibration meter is equipped with a mode that allows a measurement to be automatically evaluated according to the limits of ISO 10816-3. The vibration meter analyzes the measurement values and shows a corresponding good-poor evaluation on the display. The built-in rechargeable battery for the vibration meter has a capacity of 2500 mAh and can be recharged directly via the installed Micro-USB interface.
In addition to the normal measuring mode, the vibration meter has an FFT mode. In FFT mode, the frequency spectrum for the measured vibration velocity or vibration acceleration is calculated and displayed. In a graphical display, the calculated FFT lines are displayed in a general view for the entire frequency band and in parallel in a zoom view for the representation of the individual lines.
The route measurement is an additional function. The route measurement is meant especially for recurring measurements at identical measurement points. This enables an ordered measurement of different measuring points. Because of its extensive measurement functions, the vibration meter is therefore used for machine maintenance and repair work.
The internal memory of the vibration meter enables the displayed measuring data of the various measuring functions to be saved. The data stored on the vibration meter can be transferred to a PC via the installed Micro-USB interface. The software for the vibration meter then enables a graphical and tabular analysis of the measured values. These can be exported via the software as a CSV file for further processing of the measurement data. In order to keep the vibration measuring device always up to date, an automatic firmware update can also be carried out via the software in addition to the analysis of the measurement data.
