Wood humidity measuring device PCE-WP24 Wood humidity testing device / many different types of wood and construction materials / fast, non-destructive measurement The wood humidity measuring device PCE-WP24 is a measuring device for fast and non-destructive determination of the wood moisture of different types of wood and is also suitable for determining the humidity in construction materials. The measuring method of the wood moisture meter works according to the dielectric constant/high frequency measuring principle. The electromagnetic waves penetrate the surface about 50 mm deep. The measuring result is thus an average value of the upper 50 mm. In order to obtain a measurement result with the wood moisture tester, you only have to select the wood type/construction material (on the back of the device) and place the electrodes on the surface. The tester is supplied factory calibrated and is stable for a long time (due to its measuring principle). Therefore, it does not need to be recalibrated.
