Description
In case of fan-type grinding wheels, the discs of abrasive material are arranged in a fan-shaped radial pattern around the axis of the tool. Their flexibility ideal adapts them to the contours of the workpiece. The abrasive grain is embedded in an artificial resin bond on the tensile-resistant, flexible fabric carrier. Fan-type grinding heads are guided in ISO 3919 under the name "Leaf grinding pins". For the universal use of coarse to fine grinding.
