In order to meet the special requirements for the machining of stainless steel (INOX), PFERD uses wire quality 1.4310 (V2A) on all INOX brushes. Practical experience from the industrial environment confirms that it has a very good corrosion resistance with optimal service life. All HORSE brushes with INOX finish are marked in blue and suitable for use on all stainless steel (INOX) such as V4A. The wire quality 1.4310 tends to ferromagnetic behavior when cold-solidification is used, i.e. it is attracted by magnets. This is due to a structural change caused by deformation, e.g. during wire pulling. This does not affect the quality and corrosion resistance of the INOX trim. It retains its corrosion resistant properties. Stainless steel wire (INOX) can withstand temperatures of up to 450 °C.
