Plug-in lightning current and surge arrester (type 1+2/Class I + II) comprising of safety plugs and base element for the rail mounting. Protective circuit for 3-phase power supply networks, with combined mislaid N and PE in a conductor (5-conductor system L1, L2, L3, N, PE). Facilities: encapsulated radio links with ignition mechanism for triggering the response voltage. Directly connected in parallel Varistors. Additional plug-in total current spark gap between N and PE. Function monitoring for Class I and Class II - conductor. Cut-off of the individual L-N-protection paths in case of failure. Operating current-free (mechanical) visual fault reporting and remote defect message in the L-N-paths for Class I and Class II arrester on a common potential-free changeover contact. Base element connection Variable mountable (outer conductor from above or below). Protection plug can be rotated by 180° in the base element plug (plug-in label be read). Fuse against false mounting with wrong plugs by mechanical coding of a base element and plug. Labelling option for protective plugs and terminals. Biconnect-terminals for connection of round conductors and wiring bridges.
