Description
Diesel locomotive V200 1001 DR III, trade fair Leipzig
New 2026: The V 180 059 was the first special design in 1965 to be presented in a new design concept with a roof and front wall section made of glass-fiber reinforced polyester and anti-glare windscreen design thanks to steep front-facing windows. In addition to a long-term test on the usability of plastics, the aim was also a more attractive appearance. In 1966, two other machines were followed with glass fiber reinforced polyester cones. The model comes with the V200 1001 of DR in EP. III as a Leipzig locomotive again. The locomotive can be easily retrofitted with a PluX22 decoder.
