Piko H0 58969 Tank wagons DC ORV

Print version of the tank wagon in the design of the epoch VI. In the early 1990s, the first tankers were built with a so-called “kinking vessel”. The boilers were designed in such a way that the two halves of the boiler tilt toward the center by 3° each. Therefore, the contents of the boiler, mainly mineral oil products, are almost completely discharged without any other aids. Since the lightweight steel vehicles are suitable for higher speeds, they were soon also procured by other companies throughout Europe. These wagons can be found as P (=private) wagons in the stock of all European railway companies.
