Piko N 40583 N E-Locomotive BR 482 of SBB

With the complete new construction of the BR 185 / BR 482, PIKO fulfills the requirement of many model railway enthusiasts for a contemporary model of this modern locomotive series. The distinctive proportions of the prototype were perfectly transferred to the model to scale. The highly detailed engraved bogies, individually put sand boxes, free standing handles and filigree pantographs are testimony to modern tool construction and manufacturing techniques. The powerful central motor provides excellent handling characteristics and traction power with its two finely balanced flywheel masses, which is still supported by two diagonally arranged traction tires. The model is supplied with maintenance-free LED lighting with light changes depending on the direction of travel, as well as a suitable PIKO sound decoder, which enables more realistic operation on the model railway.
