Description
Boeing 777-9: Building the future of aviation today
Aviation enthusiasts are looking forward to the launch of the Boeing 777X on airlines such as Lufthansa or British Airways. But why wait until 2026? With this kit you can now bring the most modern and the largest two-beam jet of the world on your hobby table. As a complete new development ("New Tool") this model represents the latest state of the art in die-cast technology. You do not get a warm old shape, but a precise, technical masterpiece, which accurately reflects the innovations of the original – such as the striking folding tips of the wings.
The construction of the Boeing 777-9 is an experience in itself. You'll put together the longest hull Revell has to offer in the airliner segment. The Level 4 guarantees creative fun for advanced learners: It demands your patience and precision, but it rewards you with a spectacular result. Whether you present the impressive chassis extended out or concentrate on the aerodynamic elegance of the curved wings – this model inevitably becomes the heart of your civilian aircraft fleet.
The Boeing 777-9 is the flagship of the new 777X-family. It was developed to combine the capacity of the Jumbo jet with the efficiency of a two-beam aircraft. Because their wingspan would be too large for conventional airport terminals, Boeing developed an ingenious mechanism: The wingtips are folded up on the ground. This aircraft is redefining, WAS is technically feasible, and is expected to revolutionize scheduled traffic from 2026/2027 onwards. With this model you possess a piece of aviation history, even before it becomes reality in large style.
