Description
Steam locomotive of genre Pt 2/3 of the Royal Bavarian State Railways.
The Pt 2/3 class was a noticeable addition to the light tender locomotives for passenger transport. Their slim boiler, the large distance between the axle and the coupling wheels (4,000 mm!). And the relatively large cab are their typical characteristics. In addition, a door was installed at the rear of the locomotive, through which the heater entered the train to take over the tasks of the creator.
The Bavarian State Railways put the first locomotives in 1909, the last 1916 in service. Krauss delivered all machines (model 1 h2, maximum speed 65 km/h) in Munich.
