Description
Diesel locomotive series T 466.2 from the Czechoslovakia State Railways. In the 1970s the former Czechoslovak state railway (ČSD) had a large need for efficient freight diesel locomotives for the medium-heavy transport and route service. In the course of this, the lighter T 466.2 variant was derived from the T 448 industrial locomotive type. It was manufactured by ČKD in Prague from 1977 in nine series (each with small differences) with 494 units and was put into service at ČSD until 1986.
