Sharkoon S1000 Tower PC casing Black

New interior concept
With the compact S1000, for the first time now a tunnel is used in a Micro-ATX housing. As a result, the power supply and hard disks can be discreetly obstructed outside of the direct viewing field at the bottom. In addition, the S1000 has a convenient cable management system, which enables a clean wiring of all the components through numerous openings and slots and at the same time provides for an optimized air flow in the interior. The tunnel already offers space for a power supply with a maximum length of 20 cm. An extension of the assembly space makes possible the movable hard disk cage, which can be moved, if necessary, up to four centimeters in the direction of the front panel by means of knurled screws. For example, for extra long power supplies or more space for cabling. Graphics cards can be mounted up to a maximum length of 40 cm, CPU cooler with a maximum height of 15.5 cm.

Optimal ventilation
Two 120 mm fans are already pre-installed on delivery: Behind the side air inlets of the front panel there is a fan for the fresh air supply. Another fan is mounted on the rear side. A dust filter protects against contamination and by means of the magnetic fixing, this can be removed and cleaned at any time quickly. Easily accessible and removable dust filters are located in the front as well as in the bottom on the air inlet of the power supply unit.

Individually adaptable mounting possibilities
3.5-inch hard drives can be mounted without screws comfortably using a rail system inside the tunnel at the bottom. The air circulation is facilitated by the ventilation slots incorporated in the tunnel. Two SSDs can be stored on the back of the motherboard tray. For 5.25-inch drives, an installation slot is available, which alternatively offers the possibility to install two more SSDs. Despite the compact design of the S1000, the installation of water cooling systems does not have to be done without: 240-mm radiators can be installed directly in the front. To enable the installation of 280-mm radiators, the 5.25-inch modular installation bay has been designed and can be easily removed, if needed. The total height of radiators including fans can be a maximum of 5.9 cm.

Easy to connect
At the top of the casing front there are audio connections for the microphone and headphone as well as two USB 3.0 interfaces, for easy connection of the most important peripherals. The USB 3.0 connectors are connected via a 19-pin motherboard connector.

Quick access to all components
Both the side parts are equipped with knurled screws and can be removed without tools. Thanks to the wireless front panel design the interfaces, status LED as well as the Power and reset buttons are directly connected with the body of the casing. The front panel can thus be removed at all times without any problem. This simplifies the mounting of drives in the front as well as the cleaning of the dust filter, which is located behind the front panel.
