Description
SIMATIC HMI MTP400, Unified Basic Panel, Touch operation, 4 wide-screen TFT display, 16 MIO colors, PROFINET interface, configurable as of WinCC Unified Basic V18 UPD. 3, contains open source software, which is available free of charge, see the enclosed Blu-Ray SIMATIC HMI Unified Basic Panels enable innovative operating concepts based on the new SIMATIC WinCC Unified visualization software. All devices in sizes from 4 to 12 inches offer the same number of interfaces as well as maximum ease of use thanks to modern multi-touch technology. The new hardware also offers significantly more power for the implementation of visualization. System limits have been greatly increased, and in some cases even doubled. This enables the implementation of much larger applications than before on a panel system. In order to ensure the IT security of the devices, Siemens relies on a proprietary operating system and enables the user to deactivate unnecessary functions or interfaces.
