SIMATIC S7-1200 G2: Failsafe compact CPU 1212FC DC/DC/RLY, power supply: DC 20.4-28.8V DC, on-board I/O: 8x DI 24V DC, 6 DO relay 2A, memory: Program 200 KB Data: 500 KB, retentive: 20 KB SIMATIC S7-1200 G2 Basic Controller - The Basic Controller are the first choice for solving automation tasks in the lower and middle performance range flexibly and efficiently. The power of the central modules is scaled, available for different input voltages and with transistor or relay outputs. Safety variants are also available. In addition to the already integrated inputs and outputs, the compact CPUs can be extended directly to the device or with a variety of signal and communication modules, in order to adapt them exactly to your requirements. HMI devices can also be connected via the integrated Ethernet interfaces. The memory of the CPU can be extended via a memory card, the PLC is configured with the STEP 7 Basic software in the TIA Portal. The S7-1200 G2 has many networking options over different communication standards through integrated functions such as PROFINET, providing maximum flexibility in network and topology design. The application areas for the S7-1200 are very versatile due to their compact design and range from simple packaging machines to heating systems to the use as lower-level system for large systems. Compact design, modular construction and integrated iOS help to save space in the control cabinet. The STEP 7 configuration software is integrated into the TIA Portal and thus uses a common data management, a uniform operating concept and integrated communication services for all components of a system. This means less configuration effort and faster commissioning.
