Description
PVM-1020: Big possibilities in a small enclosure
Big Possibilities in a Small Enclosure The PVM-1020 Meter is probably the smallest photovoltaic meter in the world due to the variety of measurement functions. The functions are selected with a rotary switch. Additional parameters are set with buttons on the housing. All buttons and the graphic display are backlit, WAS makes it much easier to use in shaded areas, e.g. for measurements on free-standing PV systems. The large memory significantly reduces the preparation of documents after the measurement.
IRM-1: Simplicity and compact dimensions
IRM-1, small but indispensable for testing PV systems. By measuring the solar radiation values as well as the panel and ambient temperatures, it provides the necessary data to convert the results into STC conditions. A built-in recorder with 5000 record memory allows the device to be used as a tool in the PV plant planning process and to diagnose panel shading problems.
Interfaces and software
Measurements of the IRM-1 can be transferred to a computer via the USB port. In addition, the device has a built-in wireless LORA interface (long range) for automatic data exchange with the main measuring device – even over long distances. The measurement results can be transmitted from the PVM-1020 to the computer via the Bluetooth wireless interface. The storage of the recorded data in popular formats and its printing is ensured by Sonel Reader. To generate a report in the area of protection against electric shocks, the optional Sonel REPORTS PLUS program must be used.

Features
- PVM-1020
- • Open-circuit voltage of a PV module or a module chain up to 1000 V DC.
- • RMS voltage of an AC network up to 600 V including frequency measurement.
- • Short-circuit current of a PV module or a module chain up to 20 A DC.
- • Resistance of PV module insulation – measuring voltage 250, 500 or 1000 V, simultaneous measurement of two RISO+ and RISO- values.
- • Resistance of the AC circuit insulation – measurement voltage 250, 500 or 1000 V.
- • Resistance of the protective and potential equalizers, measuring current ±200 mA. Resistance measurement with low current, acoustic and visual signaling.
- • Measurement of the working current and AC current (AC) of the PV modules – all with external clamps.
- • AC/DC power measurements.
- • Diode test with current 200 mA, automatic detection of polarization. Test the blocking diodes with the voltage 1000 V DC.
- IRM-1
- • Radiation strength (irritation) in W/m2 or BTU/ft2h.
