Description
The PCTG CF10 filament allows printing elements with higher hardness and tensile strength than conventional PCTG.
PCTG is a copolymer with increasing popularity among 3D printing technology users. In terms of properties, it is often compared with PETG.
PCTG has a significantly higher impact resistance compared to PETG.
The high elasticity of PCTG combined with a high layer cohesion, high viscosity and low shrinkage make it an ideal polymer for composite materials.
The PCTG-based composite material is filled with carbon fibers – PCTG CF10.
The carbon fibers used give the filament an extremely high rigidity and at the same time reduce the brittle fracture characteristic of other PETG-based carbon compounds.
The PCTG CF10 filament allows the printing of elements with a higher hardness and tensile strength. The use of carbon fibers increases the heat resistance of the filament, reduces shrinkage and gives the printed models a characteristic, matte "carbon" design.
With Spectrum PCTG CF filament, 3D printing becomes an even more practical alternative to classic plastic processing in order to retain durable and durable everyday objects, regardless of the size.
Uses:
- Visual and functional prototyping
- Matching tests
- Conceptual models
- Manufacture of housings and covers
- Manufacture of parts subject to abrasive wear
- Production tools and devices
VERIFY YOUR SPOOL - the most precise quality control system on the market
Filaments for 3D printers are produced using the free extrusion method, which is one of the most difficult processing techniques by extrusion because of the particularly large influence of the process parameters on product dimensions and material homogenization.
During production, each 1 mm of Spectrum filament is continuously measured in 2 axes with an accuracy of ±0.8 µm, which allows a high quality end product to be obtained. To prove this, Spectrum Filaments, as one of the few manufacturers worldwide, has introduced the possibility of online presentation, individually for each coil produced:
- Diameter across the entire coil length,
- Medium diameter,
- Ovality,
- Standard deviation.
A detailed quality check ensures that Spectrum Filaments products meet strict market requirements.
