TFA Dostmann COOL@HOME Wireless digital thermometer Black 30.3046.01-DAkkS

As soon as temperatures rise in summer, the COOL@HOME radio thermometer goes to peak performance: A unique alarm function makes ventilation recommendations to keep the room temperature as cool as possible. An internal sensor measures the indoor temperature. At the same time, the outdoor transmitter determines the temperature outdoors. If it is cooler outside than inside, the "window OPEN" icon will appear and it is recommended to open the windows and let in the fresh air. If the temperature in the house is lower, the warm air should remain outside and the recommendation is window SHUT. You can set an alarm at two volume levels, to be alerted to the ventilation or window at the right time. This keeps the rooms cool at maximum without the energy consumption of an air conditioning system.
Since this function is only interesting in summer, it can simply be deactivated and the window symbol in the middle disappears.
Even without the recommendation of ventilation, many useful and exciting functions remain: The compact device receives the current time via the DCF 77 signal. The date is also displayed without any previous settings. Apart from the indoor and outdoor temperature, the temperature trend is displayed in two different levels. The highest and lowest values can be accessed with the date and time of saving.
Hang the radio thermometer on the wall, place it on metal surfaces thanks to two magnets or set it up using the folding stand. The wireless radio transmitter for the outdoor temperature has a range of up to 100 meters.
