Description
The Cyrix Li Charge connects a battery charger with a delay time of 3 seconds:
- If the "Charge Disconnect" output of the VE. Bus BMS is high and
- If it measures 13.7 V (or 27.4 V or 54.8 V) or more on its battery charger connector and
- If it measures 2 V or more at its battery connector (the Cyrix remains open when it is not connected to the battery
is connected).
The Cyrix-Li-Charge immediately switches off when its control input reaches the "free floating " state (open circuit)
Over voltage of the cell or over temperature of the cell.
In general, a cell overload alarm is reset shortly after the charging process is stopped. The Cyrix connects
Then the charger again after a delay of 3 seconds. After trying twice, the device is timed
This delay time extends to 10 minutes after 3 seconds.
Whenever the battery voltage is below 13.5 V (or 27 V or 54 V), the Cyrix switches at a delay time of
1 hour.
Note 1: If the discharge current is equal to 0 or if there is only a very low discharge current, the Cyrix will not switch off briefly
Switching off the charger and/or disconnecting it because the battery voltage remains above the value of 13.5 V.
Note 2: If the battery charger output immediately returns to 13.7 volts or more after the Cyrix has switched off
Increases, the Cyrix switches on again with a delay time of 3 seconds
The Cyrix battery coupler is a high-performance microprocessor-controlled relay that automatically switches batteries in parallel when one of them has reached a specified voltage (indicating that the battery is being charged) and that disconnects the batteries if the voltage drops below the maintenance voltage value (indicating that: one or both batteries are being discharged). Cyrix battery couplers are excellently suited for replacing separator diodes. Its main feature is that there is virtually no loss of voltage, so that the output voltage of the AC generators or battery chargers does not need to be increased.
