Description
The fan in the previous MultiPlus-II, EasySolar-II and Quattro-II devices can be loud, especially at low fan speed.
The electronic design in the newer MP-II/ES-II/QUA-II devices has been improved, which has addressed this issue.
For the earlier devices we now have a small PCBA available that can be upgraded to an existing device without having to remove the device from the wall.
Installing the fan PWM converter reduces the noise at all fan speeds except at full speed. In other words, at 100% fan speed there is no difference between the old and the new situation. The same goes for improved electronics in MP-II/ES-II/QUA-II units: Reduced speed fan control has a problem that has now been fixed.
