Description
The Lynx system is a modular DC busbar system for connecting batteries and DC devices and for the
Security and battery monitoring. It consists of the following modules:
Lynx Power in
Lynx Shunt
Lynx Distributor
You can use the Lynx Distributor or Lynx Power In with or without Lynx Shunt.
The Lynx Power In module is used to connect batteries through an external backup. It can be useful if you have multiple parallel strands. Due to the extremely high short circuit current potential of most battery banks, it is recommended to use an external backup system with an appropriate residual current interruption power (e.g. NH HRC). The Power In contains a negative and positive DC busbar with M8 screws to which battery cables are connected. Cables with a diameter of up to 22 mm can be routed through the lower input channels, and there is no limitation on the two side connectors.
