Victron Energy VRLA charger Blue Smart IP67 24/12 24 V Charging current (max.) 12 A

Ready for Bluetooth Smart
The Blue Smart IP67 charger is the wireless solution for monitoring voltage and current, adjusting settings and updating the charger when new functions are available. The functionality of the IP67 charger is extended with Bluetooth and thus corresponds to that of our IP22 and IP65 chargers.

Fully covered: Waterproof, shock-proof and fire-retardant.
Water, oil or dirt cannot damage the Blue Smart IP67 charger. The housing is made of cast aluminum and the electronics are covered with resin.

Highest charging efficiency of all times!
Set a new industry standard: With an efficiency of at least 92% or more, these chargers produce three to four times less heat.
After the battery has also been fully charged, the power consumption drops to less than one watt, which is about five to ten times better than the industry standard.

Adaptive 5-stage charging algorithm: "Bulk" (constant current phase) - "Absorption" (constant voltage phase) - "Recondition" (regeneration phase), -"Float" (charge retention voltage phase) - "Storage" (storage mode)
The Blue Smart charger is characterized by its microprocessor-controlled, “adaptive” battery management. "Adaptive" means that the charging process is automatically adapted to the type of battery use.

Storage mode: Less maintenance and aging when the battery is idle.
The storage mode is activated whenever no discharge has taken place within 24 hours. In storage mode, the charge retention voltage is then reduced to 2.2 V/cell (13.2 V for a 24 V battery) to minimize gas development and corrosion on the positive plates. Once a week, the voltage is increased to the level of the gassing voltage. This results in a kind of equalizing charge that prevents electrolyte stratification and sulphation - the two main causes of premature battery failure.

Also charges lithium-ion (LiFePO4) batteries
LiFePO₄ batteries are charged using a simple - constant current phase - constant voltage phase - charge retention voltage phase algorithm.

Overheating protection
Can be used in a hot environment like a machine room. The output current is reduced when the temperature rises to 60 °C, but the charger does not fail.

Two LEDs for status display
Yellow LED: Constant charge phase (flashing fast); constant voltage phase (flashing slowly); charge voltage phase (lit); bearing voltage phase (off). Green LED: On
