Description
The feeding of the internal electronics power supply is always carried out via the controller.
The feed of the field supply is done galvanically separated, either via the infeed module on the controller or via a separate potential infeed module. The separation allows a separate supply of the sensors and actuators. The snapping of I/O modules is automatically to the forwarding of the supply voltages (system supply DC 5V via the data contacts and the field supply via the optionally available power contacts). Infeed Modules with diagnostic also enable a supply monitoring. Thus, a flexible user-specific supply structure of a station. The power supply of the electronics is limited to a maximum value. This value is dependent on the controller. If the sum of the internal power recording of all I/O modules this value is exceeded, an additional system infeed module is required. Also, the feed of the
Field supply 10A is not exceed. However, the neueinspeisung different potential feed-in modules enable, the build-up of potential groups and therefore the implementation of emergency-concepts. Feedback freedom in safety-related applications is easy and cost-effective whole groups of actors centrally and securely by means of a safety switching device can switch off the power supply of the actuator can be turned off. This can be made individually for each actor or by the supply of in a group summary control outputs connected switches.
It is to demonstrate that in the event of a fault. Even if the control voltage is not to repercussions from other power or energy circuits, and thus the defined properties of the safety function (logic and time behavior) remain unchanged. Some modules are with regard to the effect freedom on the safety function has been designed accordingly.
The modules meet the requirements up to Category 4 according to DIN EN ISO 13849-1:2007. The safety category and the performance level are solely from the safety components and their interconnection.
