Description
787-821 power supply with 24V DC 10A output - from WAGO's EPSITRON PRO Power series of professional and efficient power supplies with extra power functions. Each model in this series is capable of reliably handling power peaks and is optimal for applications with high output requirements.
PowerBoost
This function ensures reliability and eliminates the need to expensively oversize switched mode power supplies by delivering 200% of the power supply's 10A rated current at 24V DC for up to 4 seconds - necessary for starting up or switching capacitive loads such as valve clusters or motors.
TopBoost
To trip high-speed magnetic miniature circuit breakers, current significantly higher than the rated current are required for a period of 10 to 12 milliseconds. 787-821 units can deliver 60A for up to 25ms (40A when Vin < 110Vac) — the faulty circuit can be shut off within milliseconds during a short-circuit. This increases the availability of the entire power supply while fulfilling EN 60204-1 requirements regarding earthing in control circuits.
Slim Design and Versatile Mounting Options
All EPSITRON® PRO power supplies are housed in a slim enclosure that can be mounted either vertically or horizontally, saving up to 50% more cabinet space by optimising space utilisation. Mounting accessories are available under WAGO part numbers: 787-896 or 787-897.
Clear and Quick to Connect
CAGE CLAMP® Spring Pressure Connection Technology provides fast, vibration-free and maintenance-free termination of solid, finestranded or ferruled conductors. Clearly labeled, pluggable female connectors allow for easy cable pre-assembly.
