Description
The varitector overvoltage protection of the series VPU PV I (type I) and II (Type II) protects VPU PV photovoltaic systems and their components effectively against interference injections by lightning and overvoltages, even well below the limits according to EN 60664-3 by the insulation coordination/DIN VDE 0110-3 specified. In this way, the infrastructure as well as converter systems from overvoltage protected and the plant availability is increased.
The arresters are after the product standard IEC 50539-11/DIN EN 50539-11 tested and in the plant according to the standards IEC 50539-12/DIN EN 50539-12 application, as well as according to IEC 60364-7-712 build of photovoltaic supply systems must be installed.
