Description
The TMP007 is a thermopile sensor from TI with an internal math engine that does all the temperature calculations. It's easy to integrate as reading die and target temperatures directly is possible via I²C. Simply point the sensor towards what you want to measure and it will detect the temperature by absorbing IR waves. It also takes the measurement over an area so it can be handy for determining the average temperature of an area.
