Description

Hammond's 1590WU enclosure belongs to the manufacturer's 1590W series of light duty IP65 watertight diecast aluminium enclosures. These rugged yet easy to machine enclosures are ideal for electronic instruments. A low side wall draft angle allows easy mounting of PCBs.

The 1590WU's lap joint construction with factory poured silicone rubber gasket around its lid provides protection against dust and water meeting the IP65 standard. This gasket remains flexible in the temperature range -62 to +232ºC.

Vibra finishing on this unpainted version provides a smooth surface with no sharp edges.
