Piko N 40522 N Diesel locomotive BR 216 blue beige of DB

Variant of the BR 216 of the DB in beige-blue paint. In the 1960er and 1970er, the V 160 and 216 series was the express train locomotive for routes without contact wire. The model of this important vehicle type not only fills a gap in the N range of PIKO, but will enrich many model railway systems from the epochs III to V. The development team has implemented the distinctive shape of the prototype in outstanding quality in the model and at the same time achieved ideal driving characteristics. These attributes are underlined by the effective use of perfect engraving and a paint finish that is harmonious down to the smallest detail. Modern LED technology serves as the basis for the light change in red and white. The Next18 digital interface is state-of-the-art and a decoder can be easily plugged in.
